The New and the Old

Been away for a long time and I have to say, I am ashamed for that! I don't have much time, but I've been meaning to post an update for awhile, as many things keep changing. But isn't that life?

I had a conversation with a friend yesterday and while the conclusion that I came to was not new, I have to admit that I always love coming to it: I wouldn't change a thing about my life; no matter what.
There is a reason we go through all the trials and tribulations. We are supposed to learn from everything and what do you take away from bad situations? Well, for one, hopefully you learned how to avoid that happening again.
But is avoiding that bad situation something you are SUPPOSED to do?
In my opinion, yes. You get a few chances to repeat lessons without a big hiccup coming in to your life. But the longer you sit there and trying the same thing over, expecting different results, the harder that lesson bonks you on the head.
While life may hint at you to not continue with what you are doing, it will flat out give you giant neon signs when you keep doing it. These signs may come in many forms; once when asking for a sign we found a chalk message scrawled across a building saying "here's the sign you've been waiting for" the next day. Some believe in coincidences, I choose to believe otherwise.
Life is what you make it. If you look for a sign, you will find one.

So, on a personal, less philisophical note; I am getting MARRIED! To the one person I want to share the world with. Or share with the world; either way, sharing abounds!

I had to stop attending Massage school, sadly. But, the learning never stops. Since being on hiatus, I have gained further interest in Aroma Therapy and naturo-pathy. I find the whole idea of using what is already here to help. Ginger is amazing!

I work for an amazing local make-up company still and it rocks my Socks! With a capitol S, obviously.

Alright, I have tangent-ed a lot at this point. I'm sorry. ADD happens that way.

Sean is about to start back in school at Evergreen in September. I am headed back to my school as well, come September. I am excited to have some focus and down time after the wedding, when we live with just the two of us and all the homework and studying and focusing can happen, hopefully. >_> But I did just discuss with a teacher at my former high school that sometimes if I don't have deadlines set by an outside power, I cannot complete things. EVER. O_O

kk, bai bai.
