While I may lose direction in my posts - it is a reflection of the direction I have lost in my life.
I am constantly reminded - especially when I have lost my way - that there are some AMAZING people in this world.
So, when you are on a particularly harsh downward spiral of self doubt and you feel like you don't deserve the totally cool things that have happened to you or are in your life - remember: There is ALWAYS good inside you. AND you are NEVER alone.
You DO deserve all the amazing that has happened.
There ARE people out there that care about you.
When things are tough, open up to the universe. Grow and learn from your surroundings and the actions you and others have taken.
One thing I have learned from the last several weeks from those that I hold so dear to my heart is that you never stop growing. Never stop doing some self reflection. Know where you have blocks and work to get over them. But don't do it in anger - and don't rush things. Everyone has their path and their pace and while it's ok to push those boundaries, and test yourself, it's important to take other people in to consideration and respect their boundaries. No two people walk the same path and you shouldn't try to be in someone else's shoes (they wont fit very nicely).
Compassion is a very important thing to have and feel towards others, so ALWAYS ask yourself if you are.
And remember: You can't force people to do things and you can't "fix" someone. They have to want to change and do better for themselves. Inspire that. If you run in to road blocks, acknowledge them, respect them and see how to get around them. If you can't - ask for help. Then listen to the help you're being given.
And if that doesn't happen - don't worry about it. Maybe it's not your place to deal with someone else's problems; Maybe they need to do it on their own. Maybe there's something else hiding in there....
And maybe - just maybe - someone will love you more for respecting their wishes and inspiring them to work on their own issues.
You never stop growing, and growing with others is an amazing feeling.
