Life Gives You What You Need

Life will always remind you of what you have lost in this crazy society with it's rules and walls, and boxes and these silly expectations of what you can and cannot do with other people.

Don't hold yourself to others standards of how things are "supposed" to be.
I posted an update on the infamous FB when I was having a tough time. "Love does not conquer all and it does not fix everything. But it is still very important to open yourself to it at all times. I accept myself the way I am. Lessons and all."

Sometimes I forget that I am my own person. And I forget the goals I set for myself because, lets face it, in this world you bump in to everyone else's intentions and projections and goals. When you are empathetic, you can be subject to your surroundings a bit more than the average person who can block out the empathy. It's the same as adopting mannerisms of close friends and family (loosely, I suppose).

So, just as a reminder:
Wake up every day and think, how can I make this day amazing for other people?
What is something special I can do for someone?

Don't get caught up in how things are supposed to be.
Don't get fed up with how things are not working out the way you wanted.
Don't get frustrated at how you feel.
Don't focus on how you can make the feeling go away for good.

Accept what life gives you - work with it and around it.

"May God give me the strength to change what I cannot accept
The ability to accept what I cannot change
And the wisdom to know the difference between the two"

I wish you laughter, love and thanks with the coming holidays.
Love with all your heart and don't be afraid of where it will take you.
You cannot lose what is inside of you - you can ignore it, hide it and abuse it - but you know it's there waiting for you when you need it.

Give to all - including yourself.

Others are NOT YOU.
Be an individual, with a mind for how you treat others.

"Imitation is the highest form of flattery"
